N900 – beautiful gimmick

The Nokia N900 is a beautiful machine but at best an average phone. And because Nokia half heartedly dumped Maemo and later Meego, (plus soon Symbian^3?) for WinMob7, app developers staid largely clear of it, turning to the “other” bigger Linuxbased mobile OSs – Android and iOS, it is and remains the pinnacle of Nokia’s phone making. There won’t be another Nokia phone like it anytime soon.

So far, the average phone I can live with. I hardly use it for that anyway. The beautiful little linux machine however won my heart.

So far I can do pretty much anything I want on the phone.
